"Ich bin eine Ruine" is a documentary trip around a particular type of urban ruins – those brought about by voluntary desertion following a war. These war ruins, custodians of remains or vestiges, are exhibited in different strata, which allow us to reflect, in an archeological manner, on a constant feature of history. From Belchite to Berlin, we move across spaces which have suffered the same fate – the phantasmagoria of a Europe-wide experience – and which are reconstructed through the idea of the passing of time. In addition to the photography project, a fanzine has been created which forms an integral part of the exhibition, working as another piece from the exhibition.
